Neural Intelligence, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Aura software and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
02Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Information
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:
- Name and contact information (email address, phone number)
- Account credentials and profile information
- Payment and billing information
- Communication preferences and feedback
- Technical support requests and communications
2.2 Technical Information
Our Service may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Device information (operating system, hardware specifications)
- Usage analytics and performance metrics
- Error logs and crash reports
- Network information and connection details

2.3 Data Processing
Aura processes your data securely using enterprise-grade security measures. We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information.
Aura conversations, screen context, and memory
When you use Aura, your requests, captured microphone audio, screenshots needed for your request, relevant file or connected-service content, and selected conversation context may be sent to our backend and AI service providers to generate responses and carry out your tasks. Local-first storage does not mean that all processing stays on your device.
Aura stores activity and personal memory locally on your Mac. Useful preferences, facts, and commitments may be saved automatically to personalize assistance; you can inspect, edit, or delete memories in Settings. Relevant saved information may be included in later requests. Microphone input requires invocation or an active reply window; you can end Voice Mode and manage microphone and screen permissions through macOS.
Connected accounts and payments
When you connect Google Workspace or YouTube, Aura requests the permissions shown in Google’s consent screen and uses authorized access to perform your requested tasks. Connection records and authorization tokens are held by Neural’s shared backend. Connections belong to your Neural account and may also be used in NeuralAgent; disconnecting a shared connection removes access for both products. You may also revoke access in your Google account.
Stripe processes payments. We retain billing identifiers, subscription state, transaction records, credit balances, and usage records needed for accounting and support. Aura credits and subscriptions are accounted for separately from NeuralAgent.
03How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Service
- Process transactions and manage your account
- Send administrative information and updates
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
04Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties, except in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit consent
- To trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Service
- To comply with legal requirements or protect our rights

05Data Security

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

08Account and Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Aura’s locally stored activity and memories remain on your device unless you delete them; a server-side account deletion does not itself erase local device files. To request account and data deletion:
- Send an email to privacy@getneuralagent.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request"
- Include your account email address and any other identifying information
- Specify whether your request concerns Aura data or deletion of your shared Neural account, which may affect access to other Neural products
Upon receiving your request, we will:
- Verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate
- Process your deletion request within 30 days
- Permanently delete your account and all associated personal data from our systems
- Send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
Please note that some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes (such as transaction records for tax purposes) or may be anonymized for analytical purposes. We will inform you of any data that cannot be deleted and the reasons why.
10Third-Party Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
11Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and implement appropriate safeguards to protect your information.
